About Us Inn The Doghouse operates award-winning dog and cat daycare, boarding, and grooming facilities and has served the community for 22 years. Our services include Enrichment Daycare, traditional all-day play, suites, webcams, parties, and a pet spa. Position Overview Inn The Doghouse is seeking Resort Managers for our Lakewood location, reporting to the General Manager and Owner. This leadership role is ideal for a customer-focused, animal-loving professional who values personal and professional development. This role offers the opportunity to grow your career while making a positive impact on pets and their owners. The Resort Manager works alongside the General Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and client relationships. The ideal candidate is an experienced supervisor who can motivate teams, maintain high standards of care, and ensure excellent customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring pets receive exceptional care Support day-to-day operations in partnership with the General Manager Schedule staff, oversee team performance, and foster a positive team culture Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees Provide coaching, feedback, and accountability to team members Communicate operational needs and issues to leadership and team leads Help drive business goals, including occupancy, revenue, and cost management Maintain facility cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory standards Support marketing efforts and represent the resort at community events Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures Maintain a professional presence with staff and clients Qualifications High school diploma required; college degree preferred 2-4 years of customer service experience At least 1 year of supervisory experience At least 1 year of prior professional experience working with dogs Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems Ability to understand basic financial and cost management concepts Comfortable working with clients as well as directly with dogs and cats Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and willingness to transport a pet during emergencies Physical Requirements Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods Ability to lift 50 lbs up to 10 feet and 25 lbs up to 50 feet Schedule Inn The Doghouse will be open 7 am - 7 pm Monday through Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9-11 am and 5-7 pm. Shifts will be determined by the General Manager and are generally 7 am-2 pm or 12 pm-7 pm plus one weekend shift per week. What We Offer $45,000 - $55,000 base annually Total compensation up to $60,000 annually based on bi-weekly (general operations) and KPI bonuses (YTY revenue) Paid Time Off Simple IRA with employer matching Dental and Vision Insurance Optional benefits include Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Accident, and Hospitalization coverage
