Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. As the face of the hotel, you will ensure that every guest experience exceeds expectations while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Supervise and manage hospitality teams, providing guidance, training, and motivation to deliver exceptional guest services. Implement and uphold hotel management standards, including guest relations, service quality, and property maintenance. Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and execute revenue management strategies to maximize profitability. Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and improve guest experiences. Lead human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to build a strong team culture. Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, health and safety regulations, and local laws. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism using effective managerial communication skills. Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality standards while managing hospitality operations budgets effectively. Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff. Proven experience supervising hospitality teams in a hotel environment with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices including revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and property management systems (PMS). Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations. Strong managerial communication skills for team leadership, staff development, and stakeholder engagement. Experience managing hospitality reservation systems as well as multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette. Competence in human resources functions such as staffing, training, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies. Familiarity with night audit procedures for accurate financial reconciliation at the close of business each day. Ability to oversee multiple operational aspects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
