Including Weekends Primary Shift:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM About the Position WoodSpring Suites is looking for a dependable, hands-on Assistant Hotel Manager to help lead the daily operations of our hotel. This position will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments are operating efficiently, professionally, and consistently meeting hotel standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is comfortable working evenings and weekends, holding team members accountable, reviewing details, and stepping in wherever needed to ensure the overall success of the hotel. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Hotel Operations Oversee daily Front Desk operations, with a primary focus on the 3 PM-11 PM shift Ensure guests receive professional, friendly, and efficient service Support the Front Desk team with guest concerns, problem resolution, and daily operational needs Monitor hotel operations during assigned shifts and address issues as they arise Assist with ensuring hotel policies and procedures are consistently followed Billing & Accounts Review guest accounts to ensure billing is accurate and properly posted Verify rates, charges, payments, and adjustments Ensure company accounts and contracts are accurate, current, and properly set up Identify and correct billing discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate records and communicate discrepancies to management Housekeeping Oversight Work closely with the Housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and quality standards Conduct Housekeeping inspections when needed Follow up on rooms requiring additional cleaning, maintenance, or attention Help ensure room availability and cleanliness standards support daily hotel operations Hold team members accountable for completing assigned responsibilities Leadership & Team Support Provide daily direction and support to Front Desk and Housekeeping associates Assist with scheduling and coverage needs when necessary Help train and coach team members on hotel standards and procedures Address performance and operational concerns promptly and professionally Lead by example with a hands-on, positive, and professional approach What We're Looking For Previous hotel, hospitality, Front Desk, or supervisory experience preferred Strong attention to detail, particularly with billing and account accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions Willingness to assist with both Front Desk and Housekeeping operations Must be available to work 5 days per week, including weekends Must be available primarily for the 3 PM-11 PM shift Reliable, dependable, and willing to be a hands-on member of the management team Why Join Us?
