Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operations of a premier hotel property. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial performance. As the driving force behind daily hotel functions, you will inspire and manage a diverse hospitality team, uphold high standards of guest service, and optimize revenue streams. Your leadership will shape the hotel's reputation as a welcoming, efficient, and memorable destination for all guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality expertise and managerial prowess in a vibrant environment. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance. Supervise and motivate hospitality teams to deliver outstanding guest services aligned with property standards. Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs. Ensure compliance with hotel management policies, property management systems (PMS), and guest service standards. Lead human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team environment. Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring memorable experiences for all visitors. Utilize hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to optimize bookings, room availability, and guest data accuracy. Coordinate with departments to oversee night audit procedures, revenue management strategies, and hotel safety protocols. Implement effective communication across departments using multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette best practices. Uphold hotel guest service standards by supervising front desk operations, managing multi-line phone systems, and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes. Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, financial operations, and guest services. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Extensive experience overseeing daily hotel operations with excellent team management skills. Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and other relevant property technology tools. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and execute financial strategies successfully. Exceptional managerial communication skills coupled with strong customer service orientation. Experience in resort or hotel environments is preferred; familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive work environment within hospitality teams. Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee development in the hospitality industry.
