Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, professional, and detail-oriented Hotel Front Office Manager to lead our front office operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure. The Front Office Manager will oversee daily front desk operations, guest relations, reservations, team performance, and coordination with other hotel departments. This position plays a key role in maintaining high service standards, resolving guest concerns, supporting operational efficiency, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all front office operations, including check-in, check-out, reservations, room assignments, guest requests, and daily front desk activities. Lead, coach, and motivate front desk team members to consistently deliver exceptional hospitality and professional service. Maintain high standards of customer service, telephone etiquette, appearance, and professionalism. Manage the hotel's Property Management System, ensuring accurate reservations, guest information, room status, and billing. Monitor reservations and room inventory to maximize occupancy, revenue opportunities, and guest satisfaction. Respond to guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, using sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills. Follow up on guest issues to ensure satisfactory resolution and promote guest loyalty and repeat business. Oversee and support night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reporting, daily balancing, and compliance with hotel policies. Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and ensure team members are prepared to respond appropriately to safety and security situations. Communicate and coordinate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and other departments to ensure guest requests and operational needs are addressed promptly. Prepare and manage front desk schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels while maintaining operational efficiency and service standards. Monitor team performance, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and assist with training and development of front office employees. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, brand standards, and applicable safety requirements. Assist with other operational duties and projects as needed to support the overall success of the hotel. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel front office operations, hospitality management, or a similar leadership role. Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel environment strongly preferred. Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems PEP is a plus. Strong understanding of hotel reservations, front desk procedures, guest services, and daily hotel operations. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging guest situations professionally. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit operations, and guest relations best practices.
