Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Work location: In person Job Overview Tru by Hilton Lewisville Vista Ridge Mall is seeking an experienced, organized, and guest-focused Hotel Operations Manager to support the hotel's daily operations. The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager and all hotel employees to maintain excellent guest service, efficient operations, appropriate staffing, and compliance with company policies and Hilton brand standards. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who is committed to providing clean and comfortable accommodations, reliable hotel services, and friendly, helpful service throughout each guest's stay. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and timely service throughout their stay. Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally. Monitor guest feedback and support initiatives to improve guest satisfaction scores and the overall guest experience. Maintain a welcoming environment that reflects Tru by Hilton's focus on an energetic atmosphere, efficient service, and clean and comfortable accommodations. Assist the General Manager with the hotel's daily operations. Support and oversee the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, Maintenance, and other operational areas. Coordinate with the General Manager and all employees to ensure clear communication, appropriate staffing, and smooth daily operations across all hotel departments. Help ensure compliance with Tru by Hilton brand standards, company policies, and operating procedures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, entrances, hallways, and hotel facilities. Oversee the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the complimentary breakfast area, fitness center, lobby, and other guest areas. Ensure the appropriate preparation, cleanliness, presentation, and operation of the complimentary breakfast service. Assist with employee scheduling based on occupancy, business levels, and operational requirements. Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of employees. Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, uniform standards, and compliance with workplace policies. Assist the General Manager with monitoring labor, purchasing, inventory, maintenance, utilities, and other operational costs while maintaining guest-service and brand standards. Review daily operational reports, occupancy levels, guest concerns, and departmental updates. Support hotel safety, security, cleanliness, and emergency-response procedures. Assist with maintaining accurate operational records and completing required reports. Assist the General Manager with obtaining vendor quotations and reviewing, coordinating, and monitoring vendor and service contracts, including pricing, invoices, performance, and renewals. Perform Manager-on-Duty responsibilities as scheduled. Provide hands-on assistance and operational coverage during busy periods or staffing shortages. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Management, and ownership. Qualifications and Experience Previous hotel operations or hospitality experience is required. Previous supervisory and management experience in a hotel environment is required. Experience with Front Office, Housekeeping, Breakfast, and general hotel operations is an asset. Familiarity with Hilton brand standards or experience working at a Hilton-branded property is an asset. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong guest-service skills with a professional and positive attitude. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced hotel environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees across different departments. Basic knowledge of hotel property-management systems, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with operational duties when required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
