Flexible; occasional evenings and weekends may be needed Studio 6 in Rock Springs, WY is looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel rooms, common areas, and property in good working condition. This is a good opportunity for someone who has general maintenance or handyman experience and is looking for part-time or on-call work . Responsibilities Perform general hotel room and property maintenance Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues, including toilets, faucets, drains, and leaks Handle minor electrical repairs such as switches, outlets, lights, and fixtures Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting, filter changes, and minor repairs Repair doors, locks, handles, furniture, drywall, and other room items Complete minor painting, caulking, and patching Assist with preventive maintenance of guest rooms Respond to urgent maintenance issues when needed Identify larger problems that require a licensed contractor or specialized vendor Keep maintenance areas, tools, and supplies organized Communicate completed work and outstanding issues to hotel management Qualifications Previous maintenance, handyman, construction, apartment, or hotel maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs Able to troubleshoot problems independently Reliable and able to respond when scheduled or called Must have dependable transportation Able to lift and move maintenance equipment and supplies Professional and respectful when working around hotel guests and staff Schedule We are open to either:
Part-Time:
Regular scheduled maintenance hours each week
On-Call:
Work as maintenance issues arise, including occasional urgent repairs We can discuss the schedule based on the applicant's availability. Compensation Pay based on experience and skill level. Applicants with strong plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, or hotel maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.
