Executive Housekeeper | 5-Star Luxury Hotel - Los Angeles County We are seeking a sophisticated and driven Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and maintenance operations for our premier 5-star luxury property in Los Angeles County. As a member of our Senior Leadership team, you will be the guardian of our "flawless" reputation, ensuring that every guest room and public space reflects the highest standards of luxury and elegance. Qualifications & Requirements Experience (Must Have): 5-7+ years of housekeeping leadership experience strictly within a luxury hotel, boutique hotel, or luxury resort environment.
Proven Track Record:
Demonstrated success managing large teams in a high-end, high-pressure setting.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in ALICE/HotSOS or similar ticketing systems, Housekeeping software, Opera Cloud, and the MS Office suite.
Expertise:
Deep knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and luxury industry technologies.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Poise:
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and poise.
Physical Ability:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lift, and move up to 30 lbs as needed, and navigate guest areas and service corridors throughout the property. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Team Management Lead, manage, and motivate the housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants, public area attendants, and housemen. Hold full supervisory responsibilities for the Maintenance team. Develop staffing schedules based on occupancy, event forecasts, and service expectations. Recruit, train, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for all team members. Foster a culture of excellence, service, and accountability. 2. Guest Experience & Service Excellence Ensure all guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public spaces meet or exceed luxury brand standards. Respond promptly to guest requests, preferences, and service recovery situations. Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas, ensuring flawless quality and presentation. Oversee VIP arrivals, coordinating personalized touches and special amenities. Ensure the team produces an annual LQA audit score (accumulatively) at 85% or above. 3. Operations & Quality Control Develop, implement, and continuously refine cleaning procedures, standards, and checklists. Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices in accordance with hotel policies and regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory management, including linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies. Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed. 4. Financial Management Manage departmental budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment. Optimize productivity and cost-efficiency without compromising luxury service standards. Track usage, forecast needs, and implement cost-control measures. 5. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Participate in daily operations meetings and communicate departmental updates. Coordinate with vendors (such as laundry and dry cleaning) to maintain linen quality and availability. 6. Sustainability & Brand Standards Implement eco-friendly practices aligned with the hotel's sustainability initiatives. Uphold brand guidelines for aesthetic presentation, scent programs, and guest amenity standards. Ensure consistency across all areas in alignment with luxury hospitality expectations.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
Up to $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
