Job Description
Overview The Public Areas Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Public Areas team to ensure all guest-facing, employee, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Provides leadership, training, and support to team members while ensuring exceptional guest and employee experiences. Responsibilities Supervise Public Areas Attendants and assign daily responsibilities. Inspect and ensure cleanliness, stocking, functionality, and presentation of public areas, restrooms, elevators, fitness center, locker rooms, pool areas, meeting spaces, offices, and back-of-house areas. Ensure cleanliness, service, and presentation standards are consistently achieved throughout the property. Coordinate special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, floor care, carpet care, and overnight cleaning assignments. Monitor inventory levels of supplies, chemicals, equipment, and amenities, and assist with ordering as needed. Ensure public areas closets, storage areas, and equipment rooms remain organized, secured, and properly stocked. Respond to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities in a professional and timely manner. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of equipment, machinery, and cleaning chemicals. Complete inspections, inventories, reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely. Partner with Engineering, Security, Front Office, and other departments to maintain property standards and operational efficiency. Promote and enforce safety practices, company policies, and regulatory compliance. Train, coach, and develop Public Areas Attendants to ensure adherence to departmental standards and procedures. Assist weekly walks with overnight team and set expectations and projects needed in the public spaces.
