Full Job Description Job Description:
The Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet (Hotel's Name)'s cleanliness and quality standards. Job Duties Duties include, but are not limited to: Assign rooms and tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure adequate coverage; Monitor and update room status accurately and in a timely manner; Assist housekeeping staff as needed, including cleaning rooms when short staffed; Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and Company standards are met; Report maintenance issues, discrepancies, or concerns to management; Maintain and monitor housekeeping supply inventory; Verify deliveries and report any discrepancies; Manage lost and found items in accordance with Company procedures; Support hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline of housekeeping staff; Train employees on Company standards, procedures, and safety practices; Communicate regularly with management regarding operations and staffing needs; Promote and maintain a safe work environment; Coordinate with other departments to support overall hotel operations; and Perform other duties as assigned by management. Work Expectations Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with guests and coworkers; Follow and enforce Company policies, procedures, and standards; Demonstrate leadership, organization, and attention to detail; Work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as required; Support teamwork and effective communication across departments. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching; Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of supplies and equipment; Ability to assist with cleaning tasks when needed.
