Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE Position Purpose:
The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the Director with the daily operations of the Environmental Services department. As an "Environmental Services Supervisor " you will: Supervises and coordinates colleagues. Ensures that the hospital and other designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitized and attractive condition. Works closely with Infection Control, Materials Management and Plant Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 2-4 years-experience in housekeeping/environmental services, hospital or health-care experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have demonstrated capabilities to manage and lead a team Must have ability to prioritize staffing needs Must be self-directed, organized and possess leadership qualities. Must be capable of prioritizing and completing duties in a timely manner Must be self-directed, organized and able to work independently Must have ability to adjust to changing healthcare designs Must be able to work well under time constraints Must have computer knowledge using spread sheets and word processing software
