We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead a team of 2 to 3 cleaners, ensuring that our high standards of service and customer satisfaction are consistently met. We are looking for someone who prioritizes superior customer service above all else. As a Cleaning Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 2 to 3 cleaners, ensuring they meet or exceed company cleaning standards and overall customer satisfaction. Your role will include cleaning residential homes, businesses, or office spaces, maintaining a clean and tidy environment. You will also be expected to anticipate customer needs, provide personalized, detailed service, and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 1 to 3 cleaners, ensuring that all work meets company standards and exceeds customer expectations. Train new employees on cleaning protocols, techniques, and quality standards. Conduct final inspections, providing feedback and guiding cleaners on touch-ups and improvements. Clean residential homes, businesses, and offices following specific client guidelines. Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting bathrooms. Move small furniture as needed for deep cleaning and change bedding when necessary. Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized environment in all spaces. Anticipate customer needs, proactively solve problems, and provide superior customer service. Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude to create a welcoming experience. Take responsibility for mistakes and implement solutions quickly. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition. Continuously seek ways to improve cleaning techniques and equipment efficiency.

Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and have a clean driving record with a valid license. Legally authorized to work in the United States (verification will be conducted). You must have reliable transportation. (You don't need a car to get to and from work.)

Skills/Requirements:

At least 2 years of work experience in a domestic help or hospitality environment is preferred (e.g., house cleaning company, hotel, country club or resort). Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals, handle fragile and valuable items, and ensure home security (e.g., locking doors, setting alarms, pet safety). Comfortable working near or around cleaning chemicals, dust, pet dander, and other environmental allergens/irritants.

Physical skills:

frequently required to stand, walk, reach hands and arms, sit, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl. Great attention to detail, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and that no detail is overlooked, aligning with Vanderbilt Maids' commitment to excellence. Excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage cleaning tasks and maintain a structured workflow, optimizing time management. The hourly pay ranges from $17-$21 per hour, paid for the entire trip. With tips and bonuses, cleaners can easily earn between $25 and $30.
