A Housekeeping or Environmental Services Supervisor supervises the staff that provide cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in office buildings, colleges, other institutions or private residences with a large housekeeping staff.
Housekeeping Inspector We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Housekeeping Inspector to join our friendly team in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida . The Housekeeping Inspector will report directly to the Director of Housekeeping and play a vital role in ensuring that brand standards are maintained across all units. This position involves inspecting guest rooms, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and assisting in daily housekeeping operations to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect guest units prior to arrivals, departures, and upon request for deep cleans. Ensure all units meet cleanliness, quality, and safety standards established by company policy. Communicate effectively between housekeeping and other departments. Report work orders and maintenance needs to the housekeeping supervisor and front desk. Assist in maintaining monthly inventory and par levels under the direction of the housekeeping manager. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations. Establish and maintain a safe working environment according to OSHA regulations. Follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Report faulty equipment, linen shortages, safety hazards, and other issues immediately. Assist guests as needed and work collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience is required. Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Neat appearance and well-groomed. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand for the entire shift, reaching, bending, and stooping as needed. Ability to reach, bend, lift, and carry furniture and equipment. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Ability to work on-site due to job requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
pay rate is $18.25/hour Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
