Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping (Room) Inspector to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across our facilities. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver exceptional service to our guests and clients. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a welcoming, hygienic environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality. Duties Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitation of all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and operational zones Assign tasks, and monitor team performance to meet quality standards and deadlines Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to sanitation protocols, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support seamless operations Enforce health and safety policies to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment Collaborate with management to implement process improvements for industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and janitorial tasks Skills Proven experience in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management Strong staff supervision skills with demonstrated team management capabilities Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and customer service interactions Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency Experience in managing janitorial operations within commercial or hospitality settings Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
