Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping department in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custodial services and hospitality, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires effective leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules for staff, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility. Stay updated on industry trends in housekeeping management and implement best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors. Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and cleaning equipment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays.
