Overview A private and warm family in Coconut Grove, Miami is seeking an experienced full time house manager/housekeeper with cooking skills to run their home with warmth and discretion. The household is a family of 3, including an 18 year old son, in a home of approximately 5,000 square feet with a small French bulldog. This is a live out position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with some flexibility to 8:00am to 6:00pm. The start date is as soon as possible. The family travels often, so there will be times they are away and the home needs a trusted person to look after it. Responsibilities Keep the entire home cleaned, tidied and in excellent order Prepare light meals for the family. Cooking is a plus, this is not a chef role Serve as the main point of contact for the home, coordinating with the family's assistant and the gentleman who cares for the property 3 to 4 times a week Work alongside the part time laundress so the household runs smoothly Help care for the family dog, including walks when needed Watch over the home and house sit while the family is traveling Qualifications Warm, welcoming, humble and discreet, someone who runs a home quietly without taking over Genuinely happy to be in the home and excited to work Strong organization and communication skills Dependable and comfortable working independently Able to coordinate with other household staff Must be comfortable around a small size dog and willing to assist as needed Requirements 5 years minimum experience as a housekeeper or house manager in a private home Commute of 30 minutes or less Driving is not required Background check required Salary and Benefits Salary depending on experience 10 vacation days 5 sick days Holidays to be Monthly healthcare stipend
