This role balances hands-on quality checks with administrative tasks like budgeting and scheduling. The goal is to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all guests or residents.
Staff Management:
Train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
Quality Inspections:
Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas daily to ensure they meet brand and hygiene standards.
Inventory Control:
Track and order cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities while keeping stock at correct levels.
Budgeting:
Manage departmental costs, control labor expenses.
Problem Solving:
Handle guest complaints or special requests quickly and professionally.
Safety Compliance:
Make sure all cleaning protocols follow health and safety Qualifications Experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, including residential or hotel environments Proficiency in cleaning and sanitation procedures, surface and floor cleaning, and laundry duties Familiarity with cleaning detergents, manual handling, and proper safety practices Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain guest privacy and satisfaction Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team; ability to follow established routines
