Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rooms Inspector/Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. This position is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike, contributing to the overall success of our hospitality services. Duties Perform and inspect thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal cleanliness. Conduct and inspect floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage housekeeping operations by organizing cleaning schedules and inventory of supplies. Adhere to safety and health regulations while performing custodial duties. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, particularly in hotel or hospitality settings. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
