The hospital is part of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare, which is a not-for-profit health system operating 14 hospitals. This position will report to the Client Executive 1 with a team of 21 frontline housekeepers. About the job In this essential leadership role, you'll be responsible for guiding environmental services operations to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You'll manage day-to-day performance, oversee budgets, and champion safety while inspiring your team to meet and exceed service expectations. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization.
