Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Director of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire housekeeping team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient workforce. Develop and implement cleaning protocols that adhere to sanitation standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices for commercial cleaning environments. Oversee daily cleaning operations across all areas, ensuring thoroughness in industrial cleaning tasks such as floor care, surface sanitation, laundry management, and janitorial services. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement to ensure seamless operations without shortages. Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety compliance, and sanitation throughout the facility. Enforce safety procedures related to cleaning processes and equipment use to protect staff and guests from hazards. Collaborate with management teams to develop budgets, set operational goals, and improve overall housekeeping efficiency while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Skills Extensive experience in cleaning operations with a strong background in custodial services and industrial or commercial cleaning environments. Proven staff supervision skills with a track record of managing teams effectively in fast-paced settings. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members toward excellence in service delivery. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management protocols. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and foster a collaborative work environment. Customer service orientation with the ability to address guest needs promptly and professionally. Experience in laundry operations within hospitality or similar industries is preferred.
