Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Housekeeping and Laundry for a healthcare facility. In this leadership role, you will oversee all cleaning, sanitation, and custodial operations to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your expertise in team management, industrial cleaning, and safety regulations will drive the success of our housekeeping program. Duties Lead and supervise all housekeeping and laundry staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations Maintain strong client relationships with a customer service approach Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations while ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and performance management Experience Proven supervisory experience in custodial or housekeeping management within healthcare or similar environments Extensive knowledge of cleaning practices including industrial cleaning, sanitation procedures, and commercial cleaning standards Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Familiarity with safety regulations related to healthcare sanitation and laundry operations Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate with staff, healthcare professionals, and administration Demonstrated leadership in managing janitorial teams, laundry services, or housekeeper staff Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in a vital healthcare environment.
