This role offers the unique opportunity to manage high-volume operations across 307 guest rooms within a market known for its vibrant culture, prestigious university, and consistent year-round demand. The successful candidate will enjoy the professional challenge of maintaining elite cleanliness standards while fostering a team-oriented culture in a city that consistently ranks as one of the best places to live in the Midwest.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct all housekeeping activities for two full-service hotels to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and cleanliness. Interview, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of managers and front-line associates. Manage departmental finances, including budget oversight, labor cost analysis, and inventory controls. Conduct continuous visual inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, including restaurants, lounges, and meeting facilities, to ensure quality assurance standards. Delegate workloads effectively to maximize production while maintaining strict control over labor and material expenses. Coordinate with the Managing Director on large-scale projects, including furniture and fixture evaluations and rehabilitation projects. Facilitate regular departmental meetings and training sessions to ensure clear communication and safety compliance.
Position Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in hotel housekeeping management is required. Strong background in training and developing both management and hourly staff. Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills in Spanish are highly preferred. Self-starting personality with an even disposition and a "pitch-in" mentality. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and proficiency with computer systems. Physical ability to move through hotel rooms and public spaces continuously throughout the shift.

Base Salary:
