Job Description

Overview:
The Environmental Services Director is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and laundry departments at our care center. They will plan, develop, and implement the operations of each department to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and quality are met. This is a working manager position that at times will need to work open positions which include weekdays and possible weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all functions of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates all housekeeping and laundry personnel Prepare schedules for housekeeping and laundry employees. Responsible for scheduling or working open shifts when they occur which may include a weekend or holiday. Order housekeeping and laundry supplies and maintain par levels. Ensure clean environment throughout the facility. Ensures rooms are ready for admissions. Member of the leadership team and attends various facility meetings. Attends QAPI and conducts quality improvement projects. Leads the facility safety committee and environmental rounds. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the departments. Maintains the safety data sheets for the organization. Respond and maintain communication with employees and residents regarding questions and concerns. Prepare and maintain department budgets. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED required. Experience working in environmental services preferred. Leadership/management experience preferred. Must pass a criminal background check.

Salary/Compensation:
$22 to $27 per hour. Equal Opportunity Employer.
