You don't just oversee cleanliness; you inspire a dedicated team to create a flawless sanctuary for travelers. Working hand-in-hand with the Head Housekeeper, your sharp eye for detail, stellar organizational skills, and supportive leadership style ensure that our high standards are met daily and that every guest experiences a warm, welcoming environment. What You'll Do Lead & Elevate the Team Assist the Head Housekeeper in directing and training room attendants and housepersons. Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and common areas, providing constructive feedback to staff to ensure impeccable presentation. Maintain a positive, welcoming attitude for guests and staff alike. Be ready to step in and assist with cleaning or prepping rooms during peak hours or short-staffed shifts. Master the Operations Communicate directly with the Front Desk regarding room readiness, discrepancies, maintenance delays, and special guest requests. Assist in monitoring linen levels, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring supply closets and housekeeping carts are neatly organized and fully restocked for the next shift. Maintain neat, locked storage closets and ensure your housekeeping cart is restocked, trash is emptied, and vacuums are cleared at the end of every shift. Help manage daily room assignments, track shift attendance, and ensure all lost-and-found items are strictly logged and secured according to company policy. Ensure Safety, Quality, & Security Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure everything is in perfect working order for our guests. Report deficiencies to the manager. Act as a vital part of the hotel security team by remaining alert for potential hazards and promptly reporting them to the manager. Maintain strict control of room keys at all times, keeping them securely in your smock and never leaving them on a cart. Keep all business information strictly confidential, both while on duty and off duty. Minimum 2 years hotel housekeeping experience. Prior leadership experience preferred. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and go up and down stairs. Housekeeper must be able to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
