Job Description
Marriott is seeking a Team Leader for Housekeeping to supervise daily room and public area cleaning operations at our hotel. In this role, you will lead and support a team of room attendants, ensuring rooms are immaculate, stocked, and ready on time. You will inspect guest rooms, coordinate with Front Office on room status, and respond to guest requests with warmth and professionalism. Responsibilities include training new associates, monitoring supply levels, enforcing safety and cleanliness standards, and modeling Marriott's values of respect, integrity, and service excellence while supporting associates' long-term growth in hospitality. Responsibilities Lead and motivate housekeeping team to maintain Marriott cleanliness standards Assign daily room and public area cleaning tasks Inspect guest rooms and public spaces for quality and readiness Train and coach room attendants and housepersons on procedures and safety Ensure proper use and inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance on room status and issues Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve service concerns Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Support scheduling and timekeeping for housekeeping staff Assist with onboarding, performance feedback, and development of team members Required Skills Housekeeping operations Team leadership and supervision Quality control and inspections Inventory and supply management Scheduling and task assignment Guest service and conflict resolution Health and safety compliance Training and onboarding Time management and prioritization Basic computer and property management systems
