Overview Sapphire Rehab is seeking an energetic and highly organized Housekeeping Director to lead and elevate our cleaning and sanitation operations across our facility. Responsibilities Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on high performance and continuous improvement. Develop and implement cleaning protocols that meet or exceed sanitation standards, including industrial and commercial cleaning practices. Oversee daily cleaning operations, including janitorial tasks, laundry services, and sanitation procedures across all areas of the facility. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to protect staff, guests, and visitors. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness quality, safety adherence, and customer service standards. Provide managerial communication to coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and address staffing needs promptly. Experience Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within hospitality or commercial environments. Extensive custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety regulations. Demonstrated leadership in team supervision, staff training, and performance management. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures used in large-scale or commercial settings. Background in managing laundry operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in hospitality environments is preferred. Strong management skills complemented by excellent communication abilities to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with other departments.
