Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑driven, organized, and service‑focused Housekeeping Executive to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the hotel maintains exceptional cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, supports staff development, and collaborates with hotel leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience. Overview The Housekeeping Executive manages housekeeping, laundry, and houseman operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards. This leader coordinates staffing, training, inspections, inventory, and communication across departments. The role also supports overall hotel operations by assisting with scheduling, problem‑solving, and Manager‑on‑Duty responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and houseman teams to ensure consistent quality and productivity. Maintain high cleanliness standards for guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and storage areas. Conduct daily room inspections and weekly deep‑cleaning checks; ensure compliance with brand and safety standards. Coordinate staffing levels, scheduling, daily assignments, and workflow based on occupancy and operational needs. Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management for housekeeping staff. Maintain inventory of linens, amenities, chemicals, and equipment; ensure proper ordering and stock rotation. Respond promptly to guest requests, service needs, and cleanliness concerns; ensure professional, courteous interactions. Collaborate with Maintenance to report and follow up on room or public‑area issues. Ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines, chemical‑handling procedures, key control standards, and safety protocols. Maintain organized housekeeping closets, laundry areas, and storage rooms. Promote a positive, team‑oriented environment focused on communication, accountability, and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Supervisory experience in housekeeping or hotel operations required. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and cleaning equipment. Proficient with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, organization, and guest‑service focus. Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
