Job Description
- Housekeeping Manager
Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee and lead our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality or hotel industry.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols to meet quality standards
- Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely room turnovers and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety regulations
- Address any maintenance issues or guest complaints promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with the front desk team to prioritize room assignments based on guest needs
Experience:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of custodial practices, floor care, industrial cleaning, and housekeeping management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
