Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our hospitality or commercial facilities. In this vital role, you will oversee the quality of housekeeping services, supervise cleaning staff, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will help create a welcoming, spotless environment that exceeds guest or client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols. Supervise and guide housekeeping staff, providing training on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and customer service excellence. Monitor daily cleaning operations, including industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, laundry services, and custodial duties, ensuring timely completion. Enforce safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace hazards to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests. Identify areas for improvement in cleaning processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of inspections, staff performance, safety compliance, and maintenance needs. Collaborate with management to develop schedules, assign tasks, and ensure consistent service delivery across all areas. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning services, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping management with a strong focus on quality assurance. Supervising experience in industrial cleaning or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff toward high performance. Knowledge of safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in conducting inspections and maintaining records. Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management effectively.
