Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality or hotel industry. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead a team of housekeeping staff, oversee daily operations, and implement best practices for efficient cleaning processes. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote high performance and adherence to company standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while minimizing disruption to guests. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and enhance guest experiences. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inspections, and supply usage. Experience Proven experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services within the hospitality or hotel sector is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Previous experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership skills in managing a team effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests, fostering a positive working environment.
