Full Job Description Overview:

TrustPoint located in Murfreesboro, TN is the leading Inpatient psychiatric and physical rehab hospital in the area. TrustPoint is a state-of-the-art hospital that provides rehabilitation services, medical psychiatry, and inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. TrustPoint is in the heart of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, only 30 minutes from Nashville. With so many specialties and populations treated, nurses can build key skills to expand and grow their careers.
PURPOSE STATEMENT
Responsible for the effective management of a clean and sanitary environment in the facility. Maintain safe, functional and supportive environment for patients, staff and visitors to the facility.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop a cleaning schedule and provide adequate staff coverage. Responsible for safety, security, maintenance, facilities, materials management and housekeeping. Effectively meet the operational needs of the departments under direct supervision. Operate within established fiscal guidelines, inspects and continually evaluates the physical condition of the facility building(s) and grounds. Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. Coordinate, develop, and/or participate in facility wide departmental safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation or corporate standards, codes, laws or regulations to manage risks related to the physical environment of the facility. Establish standards of quality within departments under direct supervision and oversee the training to meet those standards.

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or Associate's degree preferred. Four or more years' experience in the field of environmental safety, plant operations or similar environment required. One or more years' supervisory experience required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility. CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
