This energetic leader will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols, and foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality experience, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining a pristine environment that enhances the guest experience. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including cleaning, sanitation, and floor care, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel. Manage scheduling, training, and performance of housekeeping staff to optimize efficiency and service quality. Oversee the proper handling and use of cleaning equipment and chemical agents, ensuring adherence to safety data sheets (SDS) and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hotel standards. Implement hotel emergency procedures related to sanitation or safety incidents, ensuring staff are trained and prepared for various scenarios. Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement as needed. Promote a culture of safety by training staff on manual handling techniques, heavy lifting procedures, and proper use of cleaning tools to prevent injuries. Ensure all sanitation practices meet industry standards for hospitality cleanliness and health regulations. Foster excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial experience within hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial procedures. Familiarity with chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of cleaning equipment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards required by health authorities. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry preferred.
