Position Overview:
The Executive Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, order, and comfort throughout the hotel. This leader will inspire and manage a team dedicated to delivering the highest level of service, creating a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations and reflects our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and mentor the housekeeping team to maintain the highest cleanliness and presentation standards in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Develop and implement cleaning procedures, schedules, and quality-control measures that align with brand standards and ensure consistent top-tier performance. Inspect guest rooms and public spaces regularly to ensure adherence to company and brand expectations. Collaborate closely with the front desk, maintenance, and food & beverage departments to ensure seamless communication and a flawless guest experience. Manage department budgets, labor forecasting, and inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Drive performance metrics including cleanliness scores, guest satisfaction ratings, and operational efficiency. Lead by example, fostering a positive and motivated team culture that emphasizes accountability, attention to detail, and pride in work. Address guest feedback and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally. Prepares maintenance work orders in regard to replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc. Ensures all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all Company standards are being applied Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenues while maintaining high levels of guest expectation
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent. Experience with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform the following essential functions: Most duties are performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Frequent walking and standing are required. The duration and intensity of these tasks may vary based on daily operations and assignments. The role involves constant movement throughout the property , including walking between departments and directing team members to ensure smooth operations. Must be able to move efficiently and at a steady pace across all areas of the hotel as needed. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular and ongoing basis. Must occasionally push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. Requires the ability to work efficiently in confined or limited spaces . Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to perform cleaning, inspection, and organizational tasks. Frequent grasping, writing, repetitive motions, climbing, and use of manual dexterity are necessary to operate housekeeping tools and equipment. Continuous talking and hearing are essential for effective communication with guests, supervisors, and team members. Visual acuity is required, particularly for near vision and depth perception.

Proven track record of maintaining top cleanliness scores and leading high-performing teams. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members. Deep knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety standards, and best practices. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and maximize departmental efficiency. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs. Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc. Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
