Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and deep cleaning of all areas of the paint booths, hallways, scrubbers, baffles, and change the grates in base and clear booths. Remove grease build up on walls and tack coatings on ceilings. Clean and replace filters, ventilation systems, and spray booth components to ensure optimal airflow and reduce contamination. Sweep and mop all rooms of the paint department as well as the north and load area. Monitor and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials, waste, and used filters in compliance with company regulations. Adhere to all company safety protocols. Walk the entire paint line to ensure everything has been properly cleaned.

Qualifications & Skills:

1+ years of experience in paint line clean-up, industrial cleaning, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred. Basic knowledge of paint line systems, cleaning procedures, and hazardous material handling. Ability to operate and maintain cleaning tools, power equipment, and ventilation systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ability to work and maneuver in tight spots and around potentially dangerous equipment and machinery. Understanding of safety regulations related to hazardous material handling and equipment cleaning. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other departments. Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials. Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Full-time, with potential for overtime based on production needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.
