Job Description
Position Summary The Hospitality Associate plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, dealers, vendors, and employees at the auto auction. This position is responsible for ensuring all customer-facing areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, auction lanes, and common areas are clean, organized, and stocked throughout the day. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, lobbies, auction lanes, dealer lounges, breakrooms, and other facility areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility. Restock restroom and kitchen supplies including paper products, soap, sanitizer, and coffee supplies. Maintain cleanliness of customer hospitality areas before, during, and after auction events. Prepare hospitality stations with coffee, beverages, snacks, and refreshments as needed. Ensure floors, windows, entryways, and high-traffic areas remain clean and presentable throughout the day. Clean spills and address safety hazards promptly. Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety issues to management. Assist with room setup and cleanup for meetings, employee events, or dealer functions. Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies regarding cleaning chemicals and equipment. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers (training provided). Support other departments with facility cleanliness as business needs require. Provide courteous, professional service to customers and employees at all times. Physical Requirements Frequently stand and walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and reach overhead. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment. Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and auction days as scheduled.
