This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the shop supervision for the night shift, from production planning and process improvement to quality control and supply chain coordination. Duties Manage nightly shop operations, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Assist with production planning, coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for optimal workflow. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline fabrication processes. Supervise and mentor shop personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability. Conduct quality control inspections throughout fabrication stages to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Utilize manufacturing analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for operational excellence. Experience Proven experience in production supervising within a manufacturing environment, preferably in structural steel or heavy fabrication industries. Demonstrated ability to implement lean manufacturing techniques and drive continuous process improvements. Hands-on experience with quality control procedures, mechanical assembly, and process optimization in a manufacturing setting. Leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively while promoting safety and operational excellence. Mechanical knowledge relevant to structural steel fabrication processes is essential for understanding technical requirements and troubleshooting issues.
