A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

A Sharper Image is hiring dependable custodians to help keep a school client clean, safe, and ready for students and staff each morning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in creating clean spaces, and wants steady evening employment. Position Details Evening/Night Shift Tuesday -Friday Team cleaning environment Consistent year-round work Responsibilities Clean classrooms, hallways, and common areas Disinfect desks and high-touch surfaces Clean and disinfect restrooms Empty trash and recycling Vacuum classrooms and offices Sweep and mop floors Spot clean glass and doors Assist with floor care projects as assigned Follow school security procedures Qualifications Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Dependable and punctual Able to work well as part of a team Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred What We Offer Competitive pay Paid training Supportive management team Quality equipment and supplies Opportunities for advancement into Lead and Supervisor positions At A Sharper Image, we believe schools deserve more than someone who simply empties trash.
