JOB SUMMARY

The

TRANSPORT OPERATOR/CUSTODIAL WORKER

is directly supervised by the

CENTER DIRECTOR

with general supervision from the

OLDER WORKER PROGRAM MANAGER.

Operates vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws; adheres to preventive maintenance guidelines; keeps accurate records; assures security of vehicle; reports promptly any accidents involving vehicle or client; delivers meals (if applicable); assists in planning of special bus trips; performs general maintenance at Senior Center; attends drivers' training when scheduled; performs other duties as assigned. Performs cleaning, maintenance and care of the center; maintains proper inventory of janitorial supplies; performs outside maintenance as deemed necessary by

CENTER DIRECTOR

; follows all safety, health and fire prevention standards; performs other duties as assigned.

JOB CLASSIFICATION

Non-Exempt - Part-time Basic Qualifications Education of Grammar school or higher and the ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be 55 years of age or older and a resident of the State of Arkansas. Valid Arkansas Driver's License with a clear driving record. Ability to attend job-related training as required. Must maintain clear driving record and Criminal Record status.
