None Job Summary:
Child-Parent Centers is looking for a Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience cleaning licensed childcare facilities where sanitation and safety regulations must be met. The Custodian is responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior spaces of the building, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, walkways, playground spaces for outdoor play time, and related storage areas. The Custodian also conducts light yard work such as pulling or spraying weeds, minor trimming of bushes, or where applicable mowing or trimming grass. The Custodian must identify and remove any hazardous items from the playground prior to children's use each day. The Custodian takes out and returns non-permanent playground equipment and materials as necessary. The Custodian is responsible for managing and maintaining appropriate janitorial supplies: filling dispensers, organizing storage areas, tracking supply levels, and preparing and submitting orders to the supervisor for approval. This position requires effective communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Custodian position is an entry-level position funded to work 5-8 hours per day Monday through Friday and works a split shift.
