? Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. ? Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms. ? Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. ? Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. ? Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. ? Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas. ? Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary. ? Empty all recycling containers and place material in proper location ? Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Dust furniture, walls and fixtures. ? Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. ? Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. ? Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. ? Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. ? Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. ? Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. ? Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. ? Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times. ? Notify managers concerning the need for repairs. ? Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. ? Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. ? Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
