This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial work, with a focus on industrial and commercial cleaning tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of a professional club while developing skills in facilities maintenance and floor care. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met Maintain floors through floor care procedures Handle custodial tasks such as window washing, countertops and furniture cleaning Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to support facility operations Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, including commercial or industrial cleaning Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in facilities maintenance Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines Prior experience with commercial facilities maintenance is a plus but not required Must have reliable transportation This role is essential in creating a safe, clean, and professional environment at the club.
