A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Porter Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen is consumed with gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors!
Summary of Position:
As the guest's first and last impression of the property, provide exemplary customer service ensuring each and every guest experience is flawless and memorable.
Responsibilities:
Provide warm and professional greeting to guests and anticipate their needs before they arise. Escort all guests to their accommodations, assisting with their luggage as required. Inform guests about all property and guest room features, facilities and emergency procedures Ensure public areas as well as departmental equipment is clean and presentable at all times Provide assistance to other departments including, but not limited to, housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry as needed Complete minor maintenance tasks Share knowledge of the Park and surrounding area with all guest Understand Company's ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned
Position Requirements:
Provide excellent customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations Impeccable grooming standards. Should be clean cut and dressed in the appropriate uniform, which should be clean and pressed Ability to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts Ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact, in a positive way, with many different personality styles Majority of shift will be spent on feet; must be able to safely lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required.

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
