This energetic role offers the opportunity to ensure our facilities are spotless and well-maintained during weekend hours, supporting the overall operations and creating a positive experience for visitors and staff alike. Duties Thoroughly clean floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and fixtures to ensure a polished appearance. Assist with light custodial duties including replenishing supplies in restrooms and break areas. Use floor care equipment like buffers or polishers to maintain high-traffic areas' shine and safety. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly. Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for resolution. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors. Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards. Reliable with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during scheduled hours. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
