Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment across our store. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained using professional cleaning techniques and equipment. Your proactive approach will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere through diligent custodial work and facilities upkeep. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor scrubbers Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies in restrooms and break areas. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs, cart maintenance or painting to support overall building upkeep. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
