Job Type:
Independent Contractor (1099) Zen Springs is a boutique spa in downtown Oakland hiring multiple on-call cleaners to reset private spa rooms after client sessions. ✔ Short visits ✔ Flexible, gig-style work ✔ Advance notice provided
Duties:
Clean and sanitize Jacuzzi tubs Mop floors & wipe countertops Change disposable sheets on yoga mats Reset spa rooms after sessions ⏱ Each room takes approximately 10-15 minutes to clean
Schedule:
No fixed schedule On-call with 1-2 hours advance notice (sometimes longer) Each visit includes 2-4 rooms Multiple contractors hired for flexibility & backup coverage
Requirements:
Must live in or near downtown Oakland Reliable & detail-oriented Comfortable working independently Own transportation preferred Prior cleaning / spa / hotel experience a plus
