Job Description

As a sanitation worker (internal title Sanitor) at Lundberg you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role supports food safety, regulatory compliance, and overall workplace quality by performing routine and deep cleaning of equipment and facility areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize production areas, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and facility grounds. Perform equipment disassembly and reassembly for deep cleaning. Safely use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment. Support waste disposal and recycling processes. Complete sanitation logs and ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP, and GFSI standards. Report safety hazards, equipment issues, and supply needs. Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial, or custodial work in a manufacturing or industrial setting required. Must maintain eligibility to drive on behalf of the company; refer to the Company Driver Policy for more information. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime, as needed. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English. Ability to perform basic math functions: addition, subtraction. Basic computer and data/information entry.
