A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Work Schedule:
Work hours are a 9/8/80 schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, and Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with the office closed every other Friday (80 hours every two weeks). Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Performs overall upkeep of the grounds including but not limited to removing trash from the grounds, gathering and emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning sidewalks, parking lots, and carports. Ensuring all areas are clean (i.e. by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming). Cleaning graffiti. Cleaning of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and trash areas (trash rooms and trash enclosures), parking lots and other community areas. Removes trash from community perimeter on a daily basis. Prepares property trash for city pick-up. Maintaining curb appeal.
Qualified Candidates will have:
Good hand-eye coordination Show a track record of reliability in their work history. Be able to communicate in English (written and verbal) Work on their feet for the duration of their shift and lift and bend (lifting up to 25 lbs).
