Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques such as pressure washing and floor care. Conduct window cleaning to ensure clear visibility and maintain building aesthetics. Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, sanitation, and restocking supplies to ensure a hygienic environment. Operate cleaning equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, pressure washers, and chemical sprayers while adhering to safety protocols. Manage laundry services for facility linens or uniforms as needed, ensuring proper handling and sanitation procedures are followed. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety from chemical exposure or other hazards. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment, following proper manual handling techniques. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply inventories, and safety checks to support infection control measures and sanitation standards. Qualifications Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or institutional settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and chemical handling. Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor polishers, and vacuum cleaners. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on infection control and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff or visitors if needed during shift transitions. Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical use and PPE application.
