Experienced restoration tech wanted: steady pay, a company vehicle, and work that actually matters. Restored Right is a property restoration company based in San Clemente serving South Orange County. When a pipe bursts at 2 a.m., when a family finds mold behind the drywall, when a kitchen fire takes out half a house, we're who they call. We're looking for a seasoned technician who knows how to run a job right, document it properly, and treat a customer's home like it's their own. This isn't a "learn on the fly" role. We want someone who can walk a loss, set the drying plan, build the containment, and explain to a homeowner what's happening without a supervisor standing over their shoulder.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Respond to water losses: extraction, moisture mapping, equipment placement (air movers, dehus, air scrubbers), and daily drying monitoring until dry standard is met Perform mold remediation: build negative-pressure containments, HEPA filtration, controlled demo, HEPA vacuuming and antimicrobial application, and prep for post-remediation verification Handle fire and smoke losses: soot removal, odor control, content cleaning and pack-outs, structural cleaning Document every job thoroughly (photos, moisture readings, sketches, materials, daily logs) so estimates and carrier files hold up Communicate directly with homeowners, adjusters, plumbers, and hygienists in the field Take rotating on-call for emergency after-hours dispatch Load, maintain, and account for equipment; keep your vehicle stocked and clean

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3+ years of hands-on field experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, and/or fire restoration IICRC WRT and AMRT certifications are a big plus but not required (ASD, FSRT, or OCT also a plus) Working knowledge of the IICRC S500 and S520 standards preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you'll be driving a company vehicle) Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Comfortable working in respirators and full PPE Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work in crawlspaces and attics, and stand/kneel for long stretches Experience with Xactimate, Encircle, or similar documentation software is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
