Job Description

•Job Summary and Responsibilities•As our Environmental Services Tech, you will help maintain every corner of our hospital in a neat, orderly, sanitary, and safe condition so everyone can feel comfortable, confident, and secure in a pristine environment. Every day you will perform a variety of essential environmental service duties, ensuring our facilities are always in top shape. You will be expected to clean and sanitize assigned areas (like lounges, restrooms, and offices), restock supplies, and expertly operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor care machines, and steam sterilizers, all while adhering to safety and procedural guidelines. To be successful in this role you must have at least 6 months of experience in housekeeping (preferably in a healthcare setting), the ability to work reliably on weekends and holidays, a strong commitment to detail and cleanliness, and an independent work ethic that contributes to our welcoming and safe hospital environment. •Job Requirements•Required + None Preferred + High School Graduate or GED + 6 months experience in housekeeping Where You'll Work Founded in 1899, Dignity Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center is a 355-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Stockton, California.
